Commission Information
The Bespoke Process
What We Create: Bespoke rings; pendants and necklaces; earrings; and bracelets, individually designed in solid PT950 platinum or 18K gold.
01 — Share Your Idea: Tell us about the piece, occasion, preferred metal, gemstones, budget and required date.
02 — Consultation & Quotation: We review feasibility and provide an initial quotation. Enquiries are free and carry no obligation.
03 — Begin Your Design: Once the direction and quotation are accepted, the £100 CAD design fee is paid.
04 — Review & Approve: You receive one initial CAD design and up to two complimentary revision rounds.
05 — Crafting & Delivery: After written CAD approval, the remaining balance is paid in full, materials are ordered and production begins.
CAD Design Fee & Payment
The £100 CAD design fee is payable before CAD work begins and is credited towards the final commission.
After final CAD approval in writing, the remaining balance must be paid in full before materials are ordered and production begins.
Design Revisions
Every bespoke commission includes one initial CAD design and up to two complimentary revision rounds. A revision round means one consolidated set of requested adjustments.
Additional minor revision rounds are charged at £50 per round.
Major changes—including gemstone shape, setting style, band structure or overall direction—may require a new quotation and additional design fee.
Changes after final approval may not be possible and, where feasible, may incur charges and change the schedule.
Materials & Remodelling
HELIOR bespoke jewellery is made in solid PT950 platinum or 18K gold.
We do not currently accept customer-supplied gemstones.
We do not remodel, melt down or reuse customers’ existing jewellery, gemstones or precious metals.
Cancellation & Returns
Before CAD Work Begins: The commission may be cancelled and the £100 CAD design fee will be refunded in full.
After CAD Work Begins: The CAD fee becomes non-refundable to cover design work undertaken.
After Final CAD Approval: Once the design is approved, full payment is received and production begins, the commission cannot be cancelled for a change of mind.
Returns: Due to their personalised nature, bespoke commissions cannot be returned or exchanged for a change of mind. This does not affect statutory rights where an item is faulty, not as described or does not conform to the agreed specification.
Ring Resizing
Subject to design feasibility, one complimentary ring resize may be offered when requested within 30 days of delivery.
It may not be available for full-eternity rings, fully set bands, certain gemstone layouts or complex structural designs.
Where the ring was made correctly to the confirmed size, the customer is responsible for secure return to HELIOR; HELIOR will cover standard UK return delivery after resizing. If HELIOR produced the incorrect confirmed size, HELIOR will cover the correction and reasonable shipping costs.
Quality & Aftercare
Every bespoke piece is inspected before dispatch.
If you believe your jewellery has a manufacturing fault or does not match the agreed specification, contact HELIOR promptly with order details and photographs.
Where a manufacturing fault is confirmed, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with statutory rights.
Normal wear, scratching, accidental damage, impact, dropping, misuse and unauthorised third-party repairs are not manufacturing faults.
